In my Computer Imagery class we are learning the fundamentals of art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash. This is great because it will help me with the field that I am trying to make a career which is Graphic Design. That reminds me I have to find a way to show you guys some of my assignments also my art work is improving as so be on the look out for that. Back to the point, we are working in a group to make a short film which will be submitted to Campus Movie Fest in order to win prizes and a trip to Hollywood. It is a contest that was started in 2001 which showcased movie, audio, and music talents of college students. This is also a good experience for filmmakers, actors, or who ever loves film production to showcase their talents. If you are interested contact your local fine arts department chair and sign up with a group of friends and try it out. Today I have been sitting around drawing and listening to music, while washing some dirty laundry, like I do every Friday when I have no school. I listen to music all day then out of nowhere I come across a song by Tupac titled Do for Love. It blew me away, there is so much passion in this song, and then I came across a music video for it. This video is fun to look at there are so many artist viewpoints it makes me proud to be a 2pac fan. I think the video is dated a while back because of the transitions but it is still quality work. Worked on this for a day or two but I'm just perfecting my my craft I have a long way to go. They are having a little showcase for the students I might submit a work of art that I am thinking about. If you been asking where I have been, I have been at school so my blogging has cut down tremendously but I will be updating as much as possible. In my art class we are doing a research project on different artist and I got an artist by the name of   Ilana Kohn . When I first looked this person up I was not interested because of some of the work I saw but as time progressed her work warmed up to me. This artist lives in New York and has distinctive style that at first I did not understand until I analyzed and paid more attention to it. Every artwork from Ilana Kohn has a meaning to it. Then I taught myself a lesson, ''Just because it looks like something I would not do does not mean it isn't good.'' Looking at her artwork has taught me many things about color schemes and also telling a story without going overboard. These shoes drop in March these are the new Nike Air Foamposite One ''Electrloime''. These shoes will run you about $220 a pair, I know what you are thinking $220 for some shoes that's crazy. These shoes have the look that everyone is going for in the new year the ice bottoms which are common with Nike's that have been coming out lately. Let me just say I was pretty slow to listen to this man it took me a while to give into the hype but until I did I found out he was actually talking about real and relevant situations. Coming off the success of his latest mixtape Streetz Calling comes his newest anticipated mixtape Astronaut Status . He is  now working with the ranks of T.I. and he was also featured on Young Jeezy's newest album TM103. He is being looked upon now as the future of hip-hop in Atlanta and slowly spreading though out the game. This tape is already the most talked about tape in street culture right now so check it out for yourself it is going to be a classic. ENJOY!!!    

On my break off the blog I've encountered a new type of R&B it is something new and familiar all in one. This Toronto native goes by the name of The Weeknd, he brings a new sound to the industry and the thing I love most about him is he has that raw natural talent. Most already know of him but some are still oblivious to who he truly is. So far he has dropped a few mixtapes to showcase his talent starting from House of Balloons to Thursday then finally his latest installment Echoes of Silence .  It is only a matter of time until he gains national attention that someone of his talent truly deserves; his dedication to his craft is breath taking and commendable. No wonder why rapper Drake likes him so much but that is another story in itself. So check him out for yourself && ENJOY!!!
