I can honestly say I put my all into this documentary. Here is a quick back story. I went to school with one of the founders of Savage Squad who goes by the name Warlord Willy but we’ll call him Will for right now. Will hit me up and asked if I could record some of the workouts for them and at the time, I just got laid off my old job due to COVID so I said yes. It was something that allowed me to get out the house and get out of my mind. When you lose a job unexpectedly something happens to your mind and it turns your whole world upside down. As a creative when this happens sometimes you fall into a minor state of depression, actually that depression state can happen to anyone. I went to a couple of their practices and training sections to record promos for their upcoming fights.  The whole experience was amazing in hindsight. I have to start by saying I’m not a Tyler the Creator fan. Back in 2011 or 2012 when Odd Future first dropped, I did not care much for them as a group. I think it had to do with their antics and lack of quality music. At the time I felt they were just edgy kids trying to make a name for themselves and they just so happen to make music. Thinking back on it now we were all the same age. I didn’t think their sideshow measured up to their music. Plus, I always felt like Odd Future was nothing more than edgy suburban music for kids who drove around in their parents Jeep yelling out f**k their parents. You know, the type that hated their parents but their parents got/give them everything they wanted. Nowadays that’s just hip-hop in some areas of music. Sorry guys school has been rough on me so much stuff has happened to me it is crazy I have plenty of things to tell you all if I can remember them all. Lately I've been listening to a well established artist by the name of Frank Ocean. While in the car earlier today I came across this song call Thing About You, this is a beautiful song if you have not already heard about it. Everyone can relate to it there is someone you haven't seen in a while and you’re wondering if they are thinking about you. You know the same thing we all go through from time to time. This is a wonderful song where he demonstrates all his vocal ability, some say he writes his own lyrics if so this guy is on his way to becoming legendary. Let me just say I was pretty slow to listen to this man it took me a while to give into the hype but until I did I found out he was actually talking about real and relevant situations. Coming off the success of his latest mixtape Streetz Calling comes his newest anticipated mixtape Astronaut Status . He is  now working with the ranks of T.I. and he was also featured on Young Jeezy's newest album TM103. He is being looked upon now as the future of hip-hop in Atlanta and slowly spreading though out the game. This tape is already the most talked about tape in street culture right now so check it out for yourself it is going to be a classic. ENJOY!!!    

Waka has single handedly becom e one of the best underground rapper. Check out the video at the bottom of the post. ReA TV is finally back on the air. For most of you who do not know of ReA TV this is basically something that gives you a look at what we, as in Chill Mode, do when we are working and just hanging out. You are going to see us as we ride around our city, the city of Stone Mountain, as we try to figure out a way to become successful. In these mini episodes you will laugh but you will also see us as we try to find our way in this world. What I am basically trying to say is that in these episodes you will see the true characteristics of Chill Mode brought to you by Kidd ReA himself. Trust me you are going to enjoy these episodes, so sit back as you witness the evolution and the come up of Chill Mode. 

If you remember way back when I posted a couple of songs from him, here is his new song he released a couple days ago. This song is titled  ''Where I Belong'' which is off his new mixtape, Sky Republic, which is scheduled to drop in October. From the previews and samples of some of the songs that have been going around this is looking to be something to look forward to as far as new music is concerned. I have high expectations for the tape so stay tuned for more and check back in October when I have it posted. From the looks of this video this looks like it is gonna be a good tape. For those who don't know he is a local rapper from  Stone Mountain, Ga. he is gonna be great one day he has his own style and creativity as well. Be on the look out for the tape he is gonna be good one day I can't say that enough. From what I'm hearing it is scheduled to drop soon so be sure to say tuned for more. I found this video quite interesting the first time I saw it advertized, this is the called The Rise. In the video you will see OBEY creator Shepard   Fairey as he tells us how he started. From what he was talking about on how everything started is quite interesting.   He also gives us his opinion on how graffiti is and was compared to his first days starting. The thing I like was he goes in depth on the passion of his works and how there is no real reward, as far as money is concerned, but that feeling you get when it is all done. When I say this has to be the best DubStep video ever this is just an understatement. This video takes you to another world && back with out even missing a beat or anything, its that crazy, check it out for yourself. This is a true artist, I just asked a couple of friends the other day, what was Wale up to? Then out of no where these two videos come up && they are both called "The Making of Ambition". Man this has to be one of my favorite artist out now, you can feel it in his voice that he is a real down to earth kind of dude that speaks whats on his heart && then puts it in his music.You have to respect that kind of stuff well I know I do. I've personally been a fan since I heard More About Nothing  && ever since then I've been supporting this guy. I'm a fan that is motivated by his work ethic && right now he is still underground but more people will be hearing about him soon. Well some are saying that he is falling off, selling out, or just plain not caring anymore. Well I've come here to tell all of you that this is TRUE && NOT TRUE all in one. Most people know Wiz from back in the Kush & Orange Juice days, well that is when I started listening to him, but some were die hard fans that even knew him since Prince of the City . To be honest though most fans are just mad that he is not doing a lot of Day Today's anymore which is cool cause he has one of the baddest chicks in the game, which looks alright to me don't really see the hype. Lets be honest he is just sitting back && enjoying all the hard work he has done for his last album. Plus come to think of it isn't he on tour && he is working on another mixtape called Kush && Amber or is it Amber Kush, anyway its about his girl point blank.
